How It Works

The Dream DAO community consists of...

• The "Builders": talented Gen Zers (15-20 years old when they join the DAO), who have proven themselves as young leaders, and are interested in exploring how to leverage the power of web3 to build a brighter future for humanity and the world. Most Builders to date have been alumni of the Civics Unplugged fellowship.
• The "Champions": established leaders representing a range of industries who lend their expertise, networks, and other resources to the mission of Dream DAO.

Every Dream DAO member has a SkywalkerZ:

→ Champions must purchase their NFT. Once they purchase an NFT, they are eligible to apply to the Dream DAO as a Champion.

The applications for Season 4 will run in the week of September 18th-24th 2023, along with the SkywalkerZ sales.

→ Once Builders are accepted as members, after the application process (during this Season 4, the applications will run during October 2023) they receive a SkywalkerZ NFT for free.

SkywalkerZ allows members to vote. However, owning multiple SkywalkerZ does not increase voting power. We run on one member, one vote.

SkywalkerZ is only sold for a short period in between seasons. For Season 4, they are priced at 0.05 ETH.

As a Champion, you will be supporting the next generation of young innovators to get into web3, specifically focusing on high-impact use cases of blockchain technology 👩‍💻

• Each SkywalkerZ NFT purchase directly allows Dream DAO to onboard 1 GenZ builder with a free SkywalkerZ and support to enter the web3 space.
• Once you hold a SkywalkerZ, you can apply to become a Champion, plugging through various ways:

Low commitment: -Host a Learning Together session to give your insight into an interesting web3 topic area (1 hour).

Moderate commitment: -Become a mentor for a young ‘builder’ member, supporting their growth in web3 (2 hours total, consisting of 4 bi-weekly 30-minute meetings over 2 months).

Higher commitment: - Advise in working groups (Grants, Gatherings, or Governance) (1 hr a week).

SkywalkerZs are limited, with minting available from Sep 19-25th and a collection cap of 330 for this 3rd Batch! 🌎
